Hey there! We’re Evan and Stacey – the hearts behind Molly & Bear. We’re parents, just like you, navigating the beautiful chaos of family life while running a small business we’re truly passionate about.

Our journey started when our first daughter, Molly, arrived. Like so many new parents, we were completely in love – but also completely overwhelmed. We stumbled through sleepless nights, messy mealtimes, and endless Google searches, trying to figure out what our tiny human actually needed. By the time our second daughter, Mia, came along, we’d learnt a lot about what really works (and what definitely doesn’t).

That’s when the idea for Molly & Bear started to take shape. We wanted to create a baby store that felt like a warm hug – a place where parents (especially new ones) could find genuinely helpful, high-quality products without the overwhelm. A place where someone takes the time to really listen, share a little advice, and guide you through the maze of baby gear.

Our stores aren’t just places to shop – we’ve worked hard to make them welcoming spaces where you can breathe, let your toddler explore a few of the toys on display, and shop without feeling the need to apologise when your baby cries. We’ve been there, and we get it. Whether it’s finding the perfect baby shower gift, tracking down the right teething remedy, or just being a friendly ear on a rough day, we’re here to make your parenting journey a little bit easier.

In 2023, we took a big leap and opened our very first store in Westfield Mt Gravatt, and by 2024, we grew again with our second store in Westfield Carindale. Today, Molly & Bear is more than just a shop – it’s a reflection of our family’s journey, and a place where we hope you’ll feel at home.

But like so many parents, we’re also balancing the chaos of real life – school drop-offs, after-school snacks, and bedtime stories (the good ones, not the rushed ones). We’re not a big corporation; we’re a family-run, small business, pouring our hearts into every part of this journey.

And we’re not doing it alone. Our small but mighty team is made up of passionate, like-minded people from all walks of life – many of whom know exactly what it’s like to juggle a toddler on one hip while hunting for a sippy cup that doesn’t leak.
